    Natural Weed Killers

Natural alternatives to weed killers can be easy to create and economical, but there are still things to consider and be aware of with all homemade brews. **** Note that even though salt based weed killers are a more natural alternative to chemical weed killers, use care when applying. Salt is known for its toxicity to plants, hence its' aid in killing weeds and preventing regrowth, but overuse can cause negative effects on the soil making it unsuitable for growing other plants for a period of time until it washes out. It's extremely safe for kids and pets, but use sparingly and directly to avoid dead zones in areas you're wanting to cultivate. This is an excellent solution for sidewalk and driveway cracks and in between stonework.
