Harvest fresh lemon balm leaves (morning harvests are best for herbs) Can use fresh or dried for teas. Flavor slightly better when using fresh.
Step 2: Add hot water (just boiled)
Boil your water and then add to your herb in cup with strainer or press pot. Good rule of thumb ratio is 1 cup hot water to 1-2 tablespoons of FRESH herb. If using DRIED herbs, ratio is 1 cup hot water to 1-2 teaspoons of dried herb.
Step 3: Other additions
A nice addition to your brew is lavender and dried lemon peel, if desired.
Step 4: Steep
Let steep for 10-15 minutes.
Step 5: Drink and enjoy!
