Step 1: Adding Plants

Incorporating green houseplants to your space will make it a healthier environment to work in. Plants are natural air filters that can remove carbon dioxide, and add oxygen. They remove toxins, mold, and formaldehyde and can affect humidity.

Step 2: Healthy Plants

When you are choosing your plants, you can do a little homework to see what plants are better for what chemicals, and what your needs are. Below is a list of some of the most common houseplants that are beneficial for cleaner air:
  • Golden pothos
  • English Ivy
  • Mother In Law's Tongue
  • Philodendron
  • Spider Plant
  • Bamboo or Reed Palm
  • Boston Fern
  • Peace Lily
  • Rubber Plant *When choosing a plant it's important that it is adaptable to your space and will be easy to care for in regards to the amount of light it requires and watering.
