….with a Single Hand!

Today, my daughter wanted me to share one of the handmade gifts she’s been working on this year.  They really do make sweet gifts for people and it’s so fun to watch the little ones put their giving list together and get into the handmade spirit as well.

She learned the technique in summer camp a couple years ago and recently gave me a ‘lesson’ on how to make them. She even made a game out of it and challenged me to some ‘knitting’ contests to see who could create the longest one in 4 minutes…. Little did I know she was tricking me to help her build up her ‘inventory’…lol.

I haven’t had a chance to do a proper tutorial/video on it, so I’m going to link you to a video that does a pretty decent job of showing you the technique.  There are others too, if you want to search around.

It really is quick and simple and the end result is beautiful. You can get several fun looks with the different yarns and combinations you use.

Share this with your kids, my friends…they’ll have great fun with it.

Unwrapping a child’s handmade gift is always a joy….Cheers to proudly hanging, displaying, and wearing all gifts made by little hands.
