My brother made these while he was here on one of his last visits, and I’ve been making them ever since.  They’re perfect for this time of year and also make for a great last minute hostess, neighbor poppin’ in, kind of gift.

Working over a lower heat for the entire process:

Warm nuts through in a dry pan.  (there were probably about 3 cups worth covering the pan)

Add a couple pats of butter.

Let melt and stir until all nuts are covered.

Add 1/4 cup of organic maple syrup. (use the real deal, it’s worth it)

Stir until all nuts are coated.

Let cook for a minute or two and once they begin to look kind of ‘tacky’, remove from pan and spread out on parchment paper to cool.

Fill some of your mason jars, and ENJOY!  Great as a snack or in salads.

Could also add some spices or other flavors if you want to mix things up!

Quick, Easy, and DEElicious….

CHEERS to sweet treats, my friends!
